Hand painted pub sign for a client's "man cave" in Fukuoka

This is a hand painted sign I made from old cedar planks, then distressed for further aging.
30 x 41 cm

Design laid out in white prior to painting

Very impressive, indeed! I fully and completely endorse Canuck In Japan's custom-designed, hand-crafted, (obviously) lovingly produced signage. These one of a kind works of art look like they are definitely built to withstand the test of time- not to mention outdoor exposure to extreme, sub-Arctic, weather. And, personally speaking, I would like to see a three dimensional, fully carved and routered one depicting a large, single eyeball with a silk hat and a tuxedo, eh!

SM, thanks for that. I'll be sure to put The Residents on my list of future works...
