About me

As the name of this blog indicates, I am a Canuck (Canadian) named Dan living in Japan where I do a variety of freelance translation. 

In my spare time I like to work on a variety of carved and painted wooden signs, as well as some simple furniture and household projects which I will post on this blog from time to time.

私はフリーランスの翻訳者で、日本在住20年です。
仕事の合間は木工したり、木製の手作り看板などを作っています。
ちなみに、Canuck（カナック）は「カナダ人」の事です。
